Pointless Post

There is no point to this post. He's just so rosy and doughy fresh, that we had to share some more pictures with you.

The Baby Stealers

I stepped off a plane from a business trip in Petaluma, CA and headed straight to a dinner party at our friend, Jess and Darren's house. Fletcher and I went to celebrate the renovation of their new kitchen, which is gorgeous! Another lovely couple, whom we love OH SO MUCH, Tiana and Paul, were there, as well. Tiana and Jess got a hold of Greydon and they became The Baby Stealers.

These women look sweet and innocent, but watch your back.
Tiana woos babies by singing to them in Italian.

Happy Father's Day

Happy first Father's Day, Fletcher! You're the best new dad ever and we love you!

Without coffee, these boys just can't get moving.

Morning snuggle time.

Dad, what adventures are you taking me on today?

It was a weekend of firsts - - Greydon laid in the grass for the first time.

Fletcher starts Greydon on some intermediate rock climbing.
I'm not sure he's too into it yet.

What a mess!

While traveling home from a weekend trip, we decided to get off of Route 95 to avoid a terrible 8 mile back-up due to a car accident. A minute into our secret sneaky route, we got into our own accident. The woman in front of us slammed into the truck in front of her. We hit the breaks and came to a stop, but the car behind rear-ended us, thus pushing us into the car in front of us. It was a four car pile up.

Everyone was fine, however I was having neck pain and a headache at the base of my skull, so I was taken to the ER for x-rays. All came back negative. Fletcher and Greydon were also checked out or injuries. Greydon was perfectly fine and gave lots of smiles to the nurses and doctors. Naturally, he was a hit!

My parents met us at the hospital and drove us home to Damascus. They stayed with us the next morning. Thank goodness for them!!!

Monday, Fletcher drove to Fredericksburg to retrieve all of the contents of the car. They are suspecting the car will be totaled, but Fletcher thinks they can fix it. Doesn't matter to me, but I either want our old Element back or a new-used Element because I LOVE OUR CAR! It fits us just perfectly and I can't imagine life without one. Fletcher and I dated in that car, went camping, and road-tripped our relationship to perfection in that car. It has been a daily part of our lives for the past four years. We'll miss you old pal.

This is the car that hit us.

We then were slammed forward into the red car
(seen stage left in the ditch).
Red car had rear-ended the truck first.

It looks worse than it was!
God, Greydon looks like he was totally smushed!

Can I get another round?

Greydon enjoys tagging along with us to wineries. New Kent Winery was his fourth in the past 6 weeks and he seems to be enjoying his very own bottle.

I just love these guys!

Sunday fun

We took Greydon outside today to a farmer's market and winery.

Hot stuff.

Fletcher caught a ladybug on his glasses.

Caldwells Visit

We had a lovely visit from Fletcher's family for the afternoon. We went for ice cream and berry picking.

Hi Pop-Pop!

Greydon, was it something Nana said?

Uncle P, you're the bestest uncle ever.
Actually, you're my only uncle ever.

The Caldwell Men

I think Nana's expression says it all. Mmm, ice cream!

Welcome the world of Jimmy Cone. Damascus, Maryland. USA.

We live 10 minutes from Butler's Orchard.
Strawberries are the first for this season.
Look out blueberries, we're coming to getcha!

Happy Birthday!

Today is Greydon's 2 month birthday. What do you give an 8 week old baby, you ask? Breakfast in bed, of course.

Dr. Evil

Greydon has been favoring his left hand the past couple weeks (lefties are neat!) and had a Dr. Evil moment today.

Just plain cute

No story behind these pics. We just think Greydon is getting cuter by the day!

Catching up

After a fun weekend of visitors and a wacky schedule, Greydon is catching up on his sleep.

Still so tiny, he uses a hand towel as a blanket.
