It's been a while...

I have not posted a blog due to the lack of time to download images and type out little nuggets of stories. But with the recent Blogger app and my trusty iPhone I can post from almost anywhere! Not to mention the fun photos I have taken this with this phone. Below are some highlights of our summer.

"M'have airplane, Mommy"

No money fun = a trip to the Montgomery County Regional Airport. Greydon just about lost his mind when he go to see the airplanes take off and land. We even saw one of President Obama's helicopters take off. The President has about 3-5 decoy helicopters and when he takes off so do they. This one happened to be at the MoCo airport.

On the way back to the car, our conversation went like this:

Greydon: "M'have airplane, Mommy."
Me: "Oh, would you like to ride in an airplane?"
Greydon: "No. My have airplane."
Me: "Oh, you'd like to have an airplane to keep, yes?"
Greydon: "Yes. Only 4 minutes, Mommy."

One in Two Billion

Though we didn't wake Greydon to watch the wedding from the beginning, he did catch a glimpse of the new couple walking out of Westminster Abbey. He was transfixed, as I'm sure the other 1/3 of the planet was, as well. 2 billion people watched this wedding and Greydon was one of them. Eventually he just wanted some Goldfish and milk and lost interest.

DC Cupcakes

The dynamic TLC sister duo, Sophie and Katherine, of the hit TLC show DC Cupcakes, had a little press event today at work. They brought their cupcakes, they brought their swag, and they brought their smiles!

The cinnamon cupcake was like eating a snickerdoodle. OMG!

And so it begins. . .

We are now the proud parents of a two year old. BRING IT ON, GREYDON! Give us all you got.
