Frederick
We took Greydon for a little outing on Saturday to Old Frederick. It was well over 90 degrees. He was a sweaty mess and we thought we over heated him. But he slept the whole time and was a trooper.
Okay, so we're learning. It's going to be a long summer!

Happy Birthday, Greydon!
So after a long labor, delivery time, and a one hour nap in between pushing for almost three hours, I managed to avoid an emergency c-section and our Greydon Robert was born at 3:40am.

Can we get overtime for 18 hours labor?
We've done it. We've joined the blogging community. And we hold our new son accountable for this!
My water broke at 6am on Friday, April 10. Not sure what to do, we consulted every pregnancy book we owned to make sure it was really time. The contractions did not start immediately, so we took advantage of "free" morning and took showers, packed the car, ran a few errands and then went to the hospital. (Very typical of us to get as much done in a day as possible!)

I was induced around 11am, but held off on getting an epidural until 6pm. We spent the day watching tv, reading magazines, watching my contractions come and go every three minutes on the monitor, and eating popsicles - yum, orange is my fav.
