Fun Stuff
I have not updated this blog in a few weeks and have a moment to myself to do so. These pictures were taken on a lazy Sunday morning, which explains our jammies. We also have a fish-eye lens that we can hold in front of the lens. Fun stuff!

And so it begins. . .
This weekend we took Greydon to his first car show, and in my family this is a right of passage. If I had a dollar for every car show my father took me to as a child I'd probably be able to put Greydon through college. It always amazes Fletcher when we spot a classic car that I can guess the year and make of the car from about 20 yards away (give or take a year or two). I can hear them, spot them from the corner of my eye, and feel them in my core.
I don't claim to know a lot about cars or even plan to collect them (well, maybe one someday), but my appreciation for their graceful lines and big engines makes me long for cars like these today.

This post is dedicated to my father, Uncle David, and Tom Smith - as classic as they get!

Petting Zoo
Greydon is very lucky to be in "school" at my work. Discovery has a wonderful facility on the first floor of our headquarters and they frequently have activities and visitors come to entertain and teach the children.
Today, a petting zoo came and the children got to interact with some farm animals - goats, baby chickens, baby ducks, and bunny rabbits. Robin, my co-worker, was there to take some pictures of her child, Gianni, who is also in Greydon's classroom. She took these great pictures of G outside. Ms. Whitney, his teacher, is holding him. The goat is eating Discovery's well manicured lawn.
Robin also grabbed a couple of cute pics when they went back inside. These are literally the latest pictures of Greydon. However, he's probably grown in the past 6 hours.

Talking with Lynn
On July 3rd, we paid a visit to our lovely friend, Lynn. She had been in a car accident the previous week, so we wanted to spend some time with her as she healed. So off to Philly we went. This was the first time Aunt Lynn had met Greydon and they had a lot of catching up to do.

Sittin' and holdin'
We know that many of you have gone through these milestones with your kids, so bear with us when we celebrate the little things. Greydon is learning to hold on to objects. This boiled wool ring set was given to us by my friend and co-worker, Lisa Nagy. Needless to say, it's been a hit and Greydon is really learning how to hold on to objects. We're thrilled!

We also bought Greydon a Bumbo. This is a foam-plastic-rubber-like device that you plop kids into and they sit up. He gets mad after a few minutes, but it's fun regardless.

The last night
Babies grow fast. Really fast. This is one pair of jammies that he has worn since birth. At one time this article of clothing was too big, then it fit, and now it's become sort of a leotard.
Greydon fell asleep on the couch and Fletcher and I chuckled at how tight his little outfit had become and how he looked quite similar to Mikal Baryshnikov.

Needless to say, we will be closing the curtain on this little number.
